| Marsha Mason and Marlon Hibbert enjoy the sandy beach of Lime Cay. This is the largest coral cay in the Palisadoes-Port Royal Protected Area. This cay is under the most pressure from human activities because it is the largest swimming and beach area of all the cays. Garbage is a continuous problem. This cay is also the most heavily vegetated of all the islands. It is so crowded on the weekends that you have to be careful where you walk to not step on people. This cay also is an important turtle nesting site and sometimes people will take the turtle eggs or otherwise disturb the nesting area.
