| This is the Cave River and it is the main water source for the Ocho Rios area. The water is taken just below this point and filtered and put into the public supply. This river is only perhaps another 500 yds. up to the foot of the hill. One doesn't actually see a spring - it just slowly seeps from the foothills of the limestone. And as you go upstream, the flow is less and less. Even in the heaviest rain fall, the river doesn't flood or get dirty.
